Partnerships
It is through partnerships that the Foundation has found the ability to tackle big issues such as heart disease, juvenile diabetes, asthma and promoting the youth in our community to become health care professionals. These fundamental projects go beyond those who they directly benefit and help families and the community with fighting the disease many face and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Stanislaus Health Foundation supports the Health Services Agency Clinics Reach Out and Read program. This program is aimed at promoting literacy in children 0-5 years of age. During well child visits, Pediatric physicians take time to read to their pediatric patients and encourage parents to read to their children. Children are given a book to take home.
In order to participate in the program, Pediatricians are required to attend a Reach Out and Read training. Each year the Stanislaus Health Foundation holds the Dr. Amanda Crews Annual Run For Health in order to raise funds to purchase books for this program. Last year was raised $4,500 to purchase books.
If you would like to support the Reach Out and Read Program, we would appreciate your support of our annual Run For Health.
